Back to Basics
Autumn is here! The days are getting shorter, kids are going back to school (or homeschool), and things are settling down after the long, lazy days of summer. Time to re-assess and reschedule your work at home career!
Fall is a great time to think about what you want from a work at home job. Can your home be quiet during your work hours? Do you need to train your family to respect your work at home job as a "real" job? How much money do you need to make? Do you need to add more contracts to your portfolio in order to make your goal? Or would it be better to just open your own business?
I have to admit, I am a bit biased toward business ownership. My parents and grandparents owned their businesses, and my father taught me that business ownership is the only way to be in control of what you earn. There is so much that can be done! If you are not achieving your goals with one company, add another to your portfolio. Many times call centers have peaks and valleys, and when one company is slow, another may be busy. It might also be possible to find something else to do to earn money while waiting for calls to come in. Ebay is popular for their ease of use and low selling fees, and virtually anything can be sold there. Keep checking back with the companies you are interested in. Many of them are beginning to gear up for the Christmas holiday season.
